   <abstract xml:lang="ru">
    <p>Цель исследования – комплексный анализ потенциала L. minor как ключевого компонента био-логических систем жизнеобеспечения (БСЖО) с фокусом на ее нутритивную ценность и способ-ность к замкнутому циклу регенерации отходов. Был произведен поиск научных статей отечес-твенных и иностранных авторов в электронных базах Scopus, Web of Science, Elibrary, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Wiley online Library, PubMed и других с последующим анализом инфор-мации. БСЖО решают множество проблем, связанных с освоением космоса. Прежде всего, это транспортировка воды, кислорода, еды и утилизация отходов. Благодаря тому, что такие про-цессы, как восстановление CO2 до О2, производство еды, репродукция воды и переработка от-ходов, основаны на тех процессах, которые происходят в природе, биологические системы жиз-необеспечения представляются автономными, надежными и мало потребляющими ресурсы. Эту задачу берут на себя растения. Помимо этого данная технология может использоваться в местах с экстремальным климатом, таких как, например, полярные зоны и районы Крайнего Се-вера. Ряска малая (Lemna minor) – это маленькое, водное растение, растущее в стоячих водое-мах или водоемах с медленным течением в самых разных условиях обитания. В некоторых ис-следованиях она продемонстрировала способность расти в условиях космического полета и способность использовать питательные вещества из отходов, перерабатывая их в пита-тельную биомассу ряски. Также L. minor обладает высокой питательной ценностью, безопасна в употреблении человеком в качестве пищевой добавки и животными как часть основного рациона и имеет высокий уровень усвояемости у различных видов.</p>

   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>The aim of the study is to comprehensively analyze the potential of L. minor as a key component of biological life support systems (BLSS), focusing on its nutritional value and ability to support closed-loop waste regeneration. A search of scientific articles by Russian and international authors was conducted in Scopus, Web of Science, Elibrary, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Wiley Online Library, PubMed, and other databases, followed by data analysis. BLSS solve numerous problems associated with space exploration, primarily the transportation of water, oxygen, and food, and waste disposal. Because processes such as CO2 reduction to O2, food production, water regeneration, and waste recycling are based on those occur-ring in nature, BLSSs are autonomous, reliable, and resource-efficient. Plants perform this function. Fur-thermore, this technology can be used in areas with extreme climates, such as polar zones and the Far North. Lemna minor is a small, aquatic plant that grows in still or slow-moving waters in a wide range of habitats. In some studies, it has demonstrated the ability to grow in spaceflight conditions and utilize nut-rients from waste, converting them into nutritious duckweed biomass. L. minor also has high nutritional value, is safe for human consumption as a food supplement and as part of the diet of animals, and is high-ly digestible in various species.</p>
