In the study the questions of development of innovative and investment activity in integrated formations are considered. The lack of qualitative raw materials resulted in the need of creation of integrated formations in the form of clusters for the purpose of association of processes of production of raw materials and final products. At the creation of such formations a num-ber of basic approaches and the directions of agro-industrial cooperation and integration came to light. The conceptual schemes of formation of inno-vative clusters of agriculture allowing integrating the latest technologies in the field of agriculture with opportunities of processing industry are provid-ed in the study. The synergy communication arising in integrated structures at joint actions of independent elements of system provides increase in their cumulative effect up to the size bigger, than the sum of effects of the same el-ements operating independently. Creation of large agrarian and industrial formations allows uniting in uniform system production, processing and product sales on the area and regional levels; stabilizing economic commu-nications due to simplification of mutual settlements between the organiza-tions promoting reduction of non-payments, improvement of financial posi-tion of partners.
